٥٩٣٧ - أبو الأعور السلمي، اسمه عمرو بن سفيان (بن عبد شمس بن سعد بن) (¬٤) قائف بن الأوقص بن مرة بن هلال بن فالج بن ذكوان بن ثعلبة ابن بُهثة بن سليم (¬٥). (بر). وقيل فيه: سفيان بن عمرو، والأول أكثر، وقيل فيه: الثقفي، وليس بشيء. يعد في الصحابة. وقال أبو حاتم الرازي: لا تصح له صحبة ولا رواية (¬٦).شهد حنينا كافرا ثم أسلم هو ومالك بن عوف النصري، كان هو وعمرو بن العاص مع معاوية بصفين، وكانا أشد من عنده على عليّ، وكان علي ﵁ يذكره في القنوت يقول: اللهم عليك به. من يكنى بأبي أمامة
