٥٤٧٣ - النعمان بن عدي بن نضلة، ويقال: ابن نضيلة بن عبد العزى بن حرثان بن عوف بن عبيد بن عويج بن عدي بن كعب القرشي العدوي (¬٢). (بر نع مو). من مهاجرة الحبشة هو وأبوه عدي، فمات عدي بأرض الحبشة فورثه ابنه النعمان هناك فكان أول وارث في الإسلام، ولاه عمر بن الخطاب ﵁ ميسان (¬٣) ولم يول عدويا غيره، فأراد النعمان امرأته على الخروج معه إلى ميسان فأبت عليه فقال أبياتا وكتب بها إليه كانت سبب عزله عن عمله، ونزل البصرة فلم يزل يغزو مع المسلمين حتى مات ﵀.
