(فت). من بني بابي بن مجدعة ثم من آل الشراف بن قيس بن عامر بن نابي بن مجدعة. شهد العقبة، ولا عقب له. ذكره الأموي عن ابن إسحاق. ورأيته في نسخة قرأت (¬٢) على أبي ذر: مُهير بضم الميم وبراء، وذكره (¬٣) البغوي في كتابه وعزاه إلى الأموي ولم يرفع في نسبه وقال فيه: مهين بالنون وفتح الميم.
