(فت). قدم على النبي ﷺ في وفد من عبد القيس فقالوا: يا رسول الله بآبائنا وأمهاتنا أنت، جئنا سلما غير حرب. وذكر القصة وسؤالهم عن الأنبدة والأوعية ذكر () (¬٤) من الوفد غيره. (فت): وقد ذكر أبو عمر (¬٥) الأشج العبدي وسماه المنذر بن عائذ، والأكثر على خلافه في اسمه واسم أبيه، وما علمت من قال فيه إنه المنذر بن الأشوع.
