٤٦٠٢ - قُدَد (¬٥) بن عمار من بني مالك بن يقظة بن عصية بن خفافالسلمي (¬١). (فت). وفد على النبي ﷺ فأسلم. قاله ابن الكلبي والطبري وعُمر بن شبة (¬٢)، زاد ابن شبة: وكان وسيما جميلا، وقال في إسلامه: عقدت يميني إذ أتيت محمدا ... بخير يد شدت بحجزة مئزر وذاك امرؤ قاسمته شطر دينه ... ونازعته قول امرئ غير أعسر وإن امرؤ فارقته عند يثرب ... لخير نصيح من معد وحمير ورجع في الوفد إلى قومه وكانوا وعدوا رسول الله ﷺ أن يوافق لنصره بخيبر، فقدم القوم وليس فيهم فقال لهم ﷺ: فأين الغلام الحسان الصادق الإيمان الطليق اللسان؟ قالوا: مات يا رسول الله (¬٣).
