٤٣٨٢ - فروة بن مُسَيك، وقيل: مَسيكة، والأول أكثر، ابن الحارث بن سلمة ابن الحارث بن كريب الغطيفي ثم المرادي (¬٦). (خ ط ند نع بر بغ). قدم على رسول الله ﷺ في سنة تسع فأسلم، وقال الواقدي: قدم فروة قبل قدوم عمرو بن معدي، يعني سنة عشر، وقال غيره: بعثه رسول الله ﷺ إلى مراد وزبيد ومذحج، وقال له: ادع القوم فمن أسلم فاقبل منه ومن لم يسلم فلا تعجل حتى نحدث إليك.
