    ٤٣١٥ - علاثة (¬٥) بن صحار السليطي (¬٦). (ط ند نع بر بغ فت). وقيل: العلاء. وقد تقدم الخلاف فيه في ترجمة العلاء، والله أعلم. وقال (فت): علاثة بن شجار، روى عنه الحسن. ذكره خليفة بن خياط (¬٧) في موضعين من كتابه في الرواة من الصحابة ﵃ وفيمن احتل البصرة منهم، ونسبه في بني حنظلة بن مالك بن زيد مناة بن تميم، ليس معه تحت هذه الترجمة غيره. وقال علي بن المديني: روى الحسن عن رجل من بني سليط قال: أتيت النبي ﷺ، قال بعض أصحابنا: سألت عنه فقالوا: هو علاثة بن شجار، حكاه البخاري (¬٨)، هو عم خارجة بن الصلت، روى عنه خارجة، كذا سماه ابن أبي خيثمة عن أبي عبيدالقاسم بن سلام.
