٣٩١١ - عمرو بن أمية بن أبي الصلت، عبد الله بن أبي ربيعة بن عقدة بن غيرة الثقفي. (فت). كان أبوه قد قرأ الكتاب وجالس الأحبار وأخبروه باقتراب مبعث نبي فطمع أن يكون هو، وله أشعار كثيرة تدل على التوحيد والإقرار بالبعث والجنة والنار، فلما بعث محمد ﷺ حسده فلح على كفره، ومات [٣٤٢] عليه (¬٣). ولعمرو هذا شرف في الإسلام وقدر، قاله المدائني.
