(ند نع).وفد على النبي ﷺ، روى عنه عباد بن جمهور (¬١). ابن منده (¬٢): أنا محمد بن محمد بن يعقوب النيسابوري [٣٣٢] نا محمد بن عبد الله بن جيرويه نا عبد المؤمن بن أحمد (أبو عمرو الختلي) (¬٣) نا حيان (¬٤) بن السري قال: سمعت عباد بن جمهور يحدث عن علباء بن أصمع قال: وفدت إلى رسول الله ﷺ ودخلت عليه وسمعته يقول: إن الناس إذا أقبلوا على الدنيا وأضروا بالآخرة، ورضي كل قوم بما يشتهون، وتركوا الدين ورضوا، عمهم الله ﷿ بغضبه، ثم دعوا فلم يجب لهم (¬٥).
