٣٦٣٨ - عثمان بن مظعون بن حبيب بن وهب بن حُذافة بن جمح بن عمرو ابن هصيص (¬٢) القرشي الجمحي، يكنى أبا السائب (¬٣). (خ ط ند نع بر بغ). هاجر إلى الحبشة الهجرة الأولى ثم هاجر إلى المدينة وشهد بدرا، و (هو) (¬٤) أول من مات بالمدينة من المهاجرين، توفي سنة اثنتين من الهجرة، وقيل: على رأس ثلاثين شهرا من مقدم رسول الله ﷺ المدينة، وأعلم رسول الله ﷺ قبره بحجر وكان يزوره، وكان ﵁ ممن حرم الخمر في الجاهلية وقال: لا أشرب شرابا يذهب عقلي ويضحك بي من هو دوني ﵁.
