    ٣٥٩٦ - عتبة بن عروة بن مسعود بن الشريد (¬١). (فت). قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: إذا شرب الرجل الخمر فاجلدوه، الحديث في قتله في الرابعة، وفي آخره قال: فأتي برجل يقال له: نعيمان فضربه أربع مرار، فرأى المسلمون أن الضرب قد وجب وأن القتل قد رفع. ترجم به الباوردي وخرجه له من حديث محمد بن إسحاق عن عبد الله بن عتبة بن عروة عن أبيه، وخرجه لابن إسحاق أيضا عن الزهري عن قبيصة بن ذؤيب لا ذكر لعتبة فيه، حدثه بهما جميعا مطين قال: نا نصر بن عبد الرحمن نا محمد بن عبيد نا محمد بن إسحاق، فانظره.
