    ٣٤٠٦ - عبد العزيز بن سيف ذي يزن (¬١) الحميري (¬٢). (ند نع مو). كتب إليه النبي ﷺ كتابا. (نع (¬٣)): ذكره بعض المتأخرين ولم يزد على ما ذكرناه عنه، والذي كتب إليه النبي ﷺ زرعة بن سيف ذي يزن (¬٤)، ولا أعلم أحدا قاله عبد العزيز غيره، ولم يذكر لذلك رواية ولا بيانا. (مو): أورده أبو عبد الله وأنكره عليه أبو نعيم وحكى ما قدمته، قال: وقد روى الحافظ أبو عبد الله حديثه بخراسان، وساق بسنده أن عبد العزيز قدم على النبي ﷺ واسمه عزيز بهدية فقال رسول الله ﷺ: ما اسمك؟ قال: عزيز. قال: بل أنت عبد العزيز، وهو أخو ذي يزن، فدفع إليه حللا ودفع النبي ﷺ منها حلة إلى عمر، فقومت عشرين بعيرا (¬٥).
