٢٩٩٥ - عبد الله بن عمرو بن هلال، وقيل: ابن شرحبيل المزني (¬٣). (ند نع بر). والد بكر وعلقمة. هو أحد البكائين الذين نزلت فيهم: ﴿وَلَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ إِذَا مَا أَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ﴾ التوبة: ٩٢ الآية، وكانوا ستة نفر، روى عنه ابنه علقمة. قلت: قول ابن منده وأبي نعيم في هذه الترجمة: "وقيل: ابن شرحبيل"، ليس بشيء، وقد ذكرا من قبل عبد الله بن شرحبيل أبي علقمة، وعداه في التابعين، والله أعلم.
