٢٧٧٨ - طليحة بن خويلد بن نوفل بن فضلة (¬٦) بن الأشتر (¬٧) بن حجوان (¬٨) ابن فقعس بن طريف بن عمرو بن قعين بن الحارث بن ثعلبة بن دودانبنأسد بن خزيمة بن مدركة بن إلياس (¬١). (بر مو). وكان طليحة يعد بألف فارس لشدته وشجاعته وبصره بالحرب، وفد على رسول الله ﷺ في نفر من بني أسد وأسلموا، فلما ارتدت العرب بعد رسول الله ﷺ ارتد طليحة وأخوه، وادعى طليحة النبوءة، فلما أوقع بهم خالد بن الوليد، هرب طليحة إلى الشام، ثم أسلم إسلاما صحيحا لم يغمص عليه فيه، وشهد القادسية ونهاوند مع المسلمين.
