    ٢٦٤٠ - الصلت بن معدي كرب الكندي (¬٢). (فت ند نع). والد كثير وزبيد ابني الصلت. ذكره ابن أبي حاتم (¬٣) عن أبيه. وذكر أبو عمر في كتابه ابنيه (¬٤) وأنهما ولدا على عهد رسول الله ﷺ. أبو زُبيد، روى عنه ابنه زُبيد حجازي مختلف في صحبته. روى زبيد عن أبيه أن رسول الله ﷺ استعمله على الخرص فقال: أثبت لنا النصف وأبق لهم النصف، فإنهم يسرقون ولا نصل لهم (¬٥).
