(فت). من أهل البحرين وممن شيع أبان بن سعيد بن العاصي عامل رسول الله ﷺ إذ بلغه موت رسول الله ﷺ وأراد الوفود على أبي بكر ﵁ في ثلاثين من أكابر (¬٤) قومه فامتدحهم أبان بأبيات قالها، منها: جزى الجارود خيرا ... عن أبان بن سعيد وصباح وأخوه ... هرم غير عصيد (¬٥) ذكره وثيمة عن ابن إسحاق.
