٢٤٨٩ - شداد بن أوس بن ثابت بن المنذر (¬٢). (خ ط ند نع بر بغ). ابن أخي حسان بن ثابت الأنصاري، يكنى أبا يعلى، وقيل: أبو عبد (¬٣) الرحمان. نزل فلسطين ومات بها سنة ثمان وخمسين، وهو ابن خمس وسبعين، وقيل: بل توفي سنة إحدى وأربعين، وقيل: سنة أربع وستين. (نع (¬٤)): ذكر بعض المتأخرين أنه شهد بدرا، ونسبه إلى موسى بن عقبة، ووهم في ذلك [٢١٦] فإن موسى بن عقبة ذكر أوس بن ثابت بن المنذر من أهل بدر، فوهم هذا المتأخر أو غيره. قال عبادة بن الصامت: كان شداد بن أوس ممن أوتي العلم والحلم. روى عن شداد ابنه يعلى بن شداد وأبو الأشعث الصنعاني وضمرة بن حبيب.
