    سفيان بن سهل الثقفي أحسبه نزل الكوفة. - حدثنا علي بن الجعد أخبرنا شريك عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن حصين عن المغيرة بن شعبة قال: رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم آخذ بحجزة سفيان بن سهل وهو يقول: " ياسفيان لا تسبل فإن الله لا يحب المسبلين. لم ينسب لنا علي بن الجعد في الحديث حُصَيْنًا من هو. - حدثناه أبو خيثمة نا علي بن الجعد أخبرنا شريك عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن حصين بن عقبة عن المغيرة بن شعبة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نحوه.
