٢١٣٨ - سعيد بن حيدة (¬٥) بن قيس الباهلي القشيري (¬٦). (خ ط ند نع بر بغ كن). يعد في البصريين، أدرك الجاهلية وهو والد كندير بن سعيد، له حديث واحد ليس يعرف إلا به: قصة عبد المطلب إذ بعث النبي ﷺ في طلب الإبل وإنشاده الشعر (¬٧)، روى عنه ابنه كندير.قال ابن السكن: رواه خارجة بن مصعب عن داود عن كندير بن سعيد بن معاوية بن حيدة عن أبيه عن جده. فجعل الحديث لمعاوية بن حيدة، والله أعلم.
