١٩٦٨ - السائب بن عبيد بن عبد يزيد بن المطلب بن هاشم بن عبد مناف أبو شافع (¬٣). (مو). جد الشافعي ﵁، أسلم يوم بدر، وكان صاحب راية بني هاشم، وأسر وفدى نفسه ثم أسلم فقيل له: لم لم تسلم قبل أن تفدي؟ فقال: ما كنت أحرم المؤمنين طمعا لهم فيَّ. حكاه أبو بكر الخطيب عن أبي الطيب طاهر بن عبد الله الطبري القاضي.
