١١٤٤ - حبيب بن مسلمة بن مالك الأكبر بن وهب بن ثعلبة بن واثلة (¬١) بن عمرو أبو عبد الرحمن الفهري (¬٢). (ط ند نع بر بغ كن). كان يُؤَمر على الجيوش والسرايا، سكن الشام، مختلف (فيه) (¬٣). قال ابن وهب عن مكحول: سألت الفقهاء هل كان لحبيب بن مسلمة صحبة؟ فلم يعرفوا ذلك فسألت قومه، فأخبروني أنه كانت له صحبة في صحبته، وكان يقال له: حبيب الروم لكثرة دخوله إليهم ونيله منهم (¬٤). (نع (¬٥)): أدرك من حياة النبي ﷺ إحدى عشرة سنة، توفي بأرض أرمينية، وقيل: بدمشق، ولم يبلغ خمسين سنة، توفي سنة اثنتين وأربعين. من حديثه أنه نفل الثلث مرة بعد الخمس والربع مرة بعد الخمس (¬٦)، روى له (د ق).
