٨٦٩ - الجد بن قيس (¬٣) بن خنساء بن سنان بن عبيد بن عدي بن غنم بن كعب بن سلمة الأنصاري السلمي يكنى أبا عبد الله (¬٤). (ط ند نع بر). روى عنه جابر بن عبد الله وأبو هريرة، نزلت فيه: ﴿وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولُ ائْذَنْ لِي وَلَا تَفْتِنِّي﴾ التوبة: ٤٩، وكان ساد في الجاهلية جميع بني سلمة فانتزع ... رسول الله ﷺ سُؤدده (¬٥)، وسوَّد عمرو بن الجموح، وكان مغموصا عليه بالنفاق، وقيل: إنه تاب فحسنت توبته، فالله أعلم.
