١٠٤٤ - معلى بن عوفان بن سلمة بن أخي شقيق بن سلمة (٢) يروي عن عمه أبي وائل، عداده في أهل الكوفة، روى عنه وكيع،كان ممن يروي الموضوعات عن الأثبات، ويروي عن عمه ما لم يحدث به عمه، وكان عرافًا في طريق مكة، لا يحل الاحتجاج به. روى عن أبي وائل، عن عبد الله، أن النبي ﷺ كحل عين علي ببزاقه. رواه عنه جعفر بن عون.
