٩٦٥ - محمد بن الحسن الأسدي المعروف بالتل (٣) من أهل الكوفة، كنيته أبو جعفر، يروي عن الثوري وإبراهيم بن طهمان، روى عنه أولاد أبي شيبة والعراقيون، كان فاحش الخطأ ممن يرفعالمراسيل، ويقلب الأسانيد، ليس ممن يحتج به. حدثنا مكحول، قال: حدثنا جعفر بن أبان، قال: قلت ليحيى بن معين: محمد بن الحسن الأسدي؟ قال: أدركته، وليس بشيء.
