٩٥٥ - محمد بن أبي حميد المدني الزرقي (٢) كنيته أبو إبراهيم، وهو الذي يقال له: حماد بن أبي حميد، يروي عن موسى بن وردان وعمرو بن شعيب، روى عنه العراقيون وأهل بلده، كان شيخًا مغفلًا، يقلب الأسانيد ولا يفهم، ويلزق به المتن ولا يعلم، فلما كثر ذلك في أخباره بطل الاحتجاج بروايته. حدثنا مكحول، قال: سمعت جعفر بن أبان، يقول سألت يحيى بن معين عن محمد بن أبي حميد؟ فقال: ليس بشيء.
