٨٥٧ - الفرزدق بن غالب التميمي الشاعر (٢) من أهل البصرة، كنيته أبو فراس، واسمه همام بن غالب، والفرزدق لقب، يروي عن ابن عمر، وأبي هريرة، روى عنه ابن أبي نجيح ومروان الأصفر، روى أحاديث يسيرة، وكان الفرزدق ظاهر الفسق هتاكًا للحرم، قذافًا للمحصنات، ومن كان فيه خصلة من هذه الخصال استحق مجانبة روايته على الأحوال، ومات الفرزدق سنة عشر ومئة هو وجرير جميعًا في سنة واحدة.
