٦٦٦ - عثمان بن مقسم البري أبو سلمة الكندي مولى لهم (٣) من أهل الكوفة، يروي عن قتادة وأبي إسحاق، روى عنه البصريون وأهل الكوفة، كان ممن يروي المقلوبات عن الأثبات، تركه أحمد بن حنبل ويحيى بن معين.روى عن نعيم بن عبد الله، عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي ﷺ قال: "أَكذَبُ النَّاسِ الصُّنَّاعُ" (١). روى عنه يزيد بن هارون. حدثنا الزيادي، قال: حدثنا ابن أبي شيبة، قال: حدثنا علي بن المديني، قال: قال يحيى بن سعيد: كنت جالسًا مع سفيان الثوري، فقلت: حدثني البري، عن منصور، عن أبي وائل، عن عبد الله في المسح على الخفين، فقال: كذب.
