٦٦٠ - عثمان بن عبد الرحمن الطرائفي القرشي (٢) كنيته أبو عبد الرحمن، من أهل حران، وكان معلمًا، يروي عن أقوام ضعاف أشياء يدلسها عن الثقات حتى إذا سمعها المستمع لم يشك في وضعها، فلما كثر ذلك في أخباره التزقت به تلك الموضوعات، وحمل عليه الناس في الجرح، فلا يجوز الاحتجاج عندي بروايته كلها على حالة منالأحوال، لما غلب عليها من المناكير عن المشاهير والموضوعات عن الثقات، مات سنة ثلاث ومئتين.
