ولاية سعد بن أبي وقاص الكوفة ٦٦٨ - وأمّا الواقديّ: فإنه ذكر أنّ أسامة بن زيد بن أسلم حدّثه عن أبيه: أن عمرَ أوصى أن يُقَرّ عمّاله سنة؛ فلما ولي عثمان أقرّ المغيرةَ بن شعبة على الكوفة سنة، ثم عزله، واستعمل سعد بن أبي وقاص ثم عزله، واستعمل الوليد بن عُقْبة. فإن كان صحيحًا ما رواه الواقديّ من ذلك، فولاية سعد الكوفة من قبَل عثمان كانت سنة خمس وعشرين (٢). (٤: ٢٤٤).
