فتح إفريقية وبناء القيروان وكان معاوية بن أبي سفيان قد بعث قبل أن يولي مسلمة مصر وأفريقيةعقبة بن نافع الفهري إلى إفريقية فافتتحها واختط قيروانها (١). (٥: ٢٤٠). وفي هذه السنة مات أبو موسى الأشعريّ، وقد قيل: كانت وفاة أبي موسى سنة اثنتين وخمسين (٢). (٥: ٢٤٠).-
