ثم دخلت سنة ثلاثين ذكر ما كان فيها من الأحداث المشهورة فممّا كان فيها غزوة سعيد بن العاص طَبرِستان في قول أبي معشر، حدّثني بذلك أحمد بن ثابت، عمّن حدّثه، عن إسحاق بن عيسى، عنه. وفي قول الواقديّ وقول عليّ بن محمد المدالنيّ: حدّثني بذلك عمر بن شبّة عنه.وأما عليّ بن محمد المدائنيّ، فإنه قال - فيما حدّثني به عنه عمر -: لم يغزُها أحدٌ حتى قام عثمان بن عفان ﵁، فغزاها سعيد بن العاص سنة ثلاثين (١). (٤: ٢٦٩).
