٣٦٣٥ - الجمّال المهلّبيّ خطيب مكّة [- بعد ٦٤٦] محمد بن [ ... ]، المهلّبيّ، جمال الدين، خطيب مكّة. سمع وحدّث، وخرّج وصنّف، وقال الشعر الحسن والترسّل الجيّد. وقدم مصر، وسار منها إلى مكّة في سنة ستّ وأربعين وستّمائة. ومن شعره، ممّا قاله على قبر المكرّم [الكامل]: قالوا: المكرّم قد قضى ... قلت: السلام عليك مصر ما بعد موت مكرّم ... للمكرمات بمصر ذكر (٤)
