    ٣٤٠٠ - أبو العبّاس السمسار الحافظ [- ٣٦٣] (٤) [١٥٥ أ] محمد بن موسى بن الحسين، أبو العبّاس، السمسار، الحافظ. رحل في طلب الحديث، وسمع بالشام ومصر. وروى عن عبد الله بن محمد بن السريّ الحافظ الحمصيّ، وأبي جعفر أحمد بن إسماعيل بن عاصم، سمع منه بمصر، وأبي جعفر القاسم، وعون بن الحسن بن عون، وجماعة. روى عنه تمّام الرازيّ وغيره، وكان ثقة نبيلا حافظا. كتب الكثير وحدّث بشيء يسير. توفّي في شهر رمضان سنة ثلاث وستّين وثلاثمائة.
