٢٨٨٤ - ابن البنّاء المقرئ [- ٥٩١] (٣) [١٧٦ ب] محمد بن عمر بن أحمد بن جامع، أبو عبد الله، ابن البنّاء، المقرئ، الشافعيّ. سمع من القاضي مجلّي بن جميع، وأبي البقاء عمر بن محمد المقدسيّ، وأبي عبد الله محمد بن إبراهيم الميزانيّ، وأبي محمد عبد الله بن برّيّ، وأبي الحسن عليّ بن عبد الرحيم بن الحسن العصّار. وأقرأ القرآن وحدّث، وانتفع به جماعة. وانقطع في المسجد الذي بين بابي زويلة مدّة طويلة حتى عرف المسجد به فصار يقال له «مسجد ابن البنّاء»، وهذا المسجد يعرف اليوم بسام بن نوح. توفّي في شهر ربيع الآخر سنة إحدى وتسعين وخمسمائة.
