    ٢٥٢٥ - النجم ابن السقطيّ [٦١٣ - ٦٧٦] [٤٦ أ] محمد بن عبد العظيم بن عليّ بن سالم، نجم الدين، أبو عبد الله، ابن أبي محمد، ابن أبي الحسن، ابن أبي الرجاء، المعروف بابن السقطيّ. ولد بمصر في ثامن ذي الحجّة سنة ثلاث عشرة وستّمائة. سمع أبا الحسن ابن الصابونيّ، وأبا الحسن ابن الجمّيزى، وأبا المعالي أسعد بن المسلم بن مكّي بن علّان. وتصدّر بجامع عمرو بن العاصي لإقراء القرآن الكريم بالقراءات، وحدّث. وهو أخو أقضى القضاة جمال الدين أبي بكر محمد الآتي بعده إن شاء الله. توفّي يوم الخميس سادس عشرين ذي القعدة سنة ستّ وسبعين وستّمائة بمصر، ودفن بالقرافة.
