    ٢٤٥٥ - ابن غنج المدنيّ (٣) محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد بن غنج- ويقال: محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن غنج- المدنيّ، نزيل مصر. روى عن نافع مولى ابن عمر. روى عنه اللّيث بن سعد- قال أحمد بن حنبل: شيخ مقارب الحديث. وقال أبو حاتم: صالح الحديث، لا أعلم أحدا روى عنه غير الليث بن سعد. وقال أبو داود: ابن غنج، من أهل المدينة، كان بمصر، روى عنه الليث بن سعد نحوا من ستّين حديثا. وقال ابن حبّان في كتاب الثقات: حدّث عن نافع بنسخة [ ... ]، روى له مسلم وأبو داود والنسائيّ.
