    ٢٣٢٧ - أبو جعفر ابن سوّار الكوفيّ [- ٢٤٨] (١) محمّد بن سوّار بن راشد، أبو جعفر، الأزديّ، الكوفيّ. قدم مصر وحدّث بها. روى عن أبي خالد سليمان بن حيّان الأحمر، وعبد الرحمن بن محمّد المحاربيّ، وعبد السلام بن حرب، وعبدة بن سليمان، ومحمّد بن فضيل بن غزوان، ووكيع بن الجرّاح. روى عنه أبو داود، وابنه عبد الله ابن أبي داود، وعبد الحكم بن أحمد بن سلامة الصدفيّ المصريّ، وعليّ بن أحمد بن سليمان علّان، وأبو حاتم محمّد بن إدريس الرازيّ. قال ابن أبي حاتم: سمع منه أبي بمصر في الرحلة الثانية، وسئل عنه فقال: صدوق. وتوفّي بمصر في شوّال سنة ثمان وأربعين ومائتين.
