    ٢٢٣٤ - الشهاب ابن خمار [٦٠٠ - ٦٦٨] محمّد بن داود بن خمار بن محمود بن غازي بن إبراهيم، أبو بكر، ابن أبي سليمان- وقيل: أبو عبد الله ابن أبي الربيع- الأنصاري، المصريّ، شهاب الدين. مولده ليلة الثلاثاء خامس ذي الحجّة سنة ستّمائة باليمون من كورة بوش. وتصدّر بجامع عمرو بن العاص بمصر لإقراء القرآن. وحدّث عن أبي عبد الله محمّد بن إبراهيم الفخر الفارسيّ، وأبي الفضل مكرم بن أبي الصقر. وكان شيخا ساكنا خيّرا. توفّي بمصر في رابع عشرين شوّال سنة ثمان وستّين وستّمائة. وخمار بضمّ الخاء المعجمة وتخفيف الميم ثمّ ألف بعدها راء مهملة.
