٢٢٠٨ - ابن الشّمنّي القسنطينيّ [٥٩٣ - بعد ٦٧٤] (١) محمّد بن خلف الله بن خليفة بن محمّد، التميميّ، القسنطينيّ، الشافعيّ. المعروف بابن الشّمنّيّ- بشين معجمة مضمومة بعدها ميم مضمونة ثمّ نون مكسورة مشدّدة. ولد بقسنطينة الهوا (٢) سنة ثلاث وتسعين وخمسمائة، وقدم مصر فسمع من أبي الحسن عليّ بن هبة الله بن الجميزى، وحدّث. ذكره أبو الحسين القرشيّ في معجم شيوخه وقال: من الفقهاء الأفاضل، ذو فنون متعدّدة، حسن المذاكرة. وهو أحد المتصدّرين بجامع مصر لإقراء الفقه والأدب، وأحد [٢٤٠ أ] الشهود المعدّلين بها. كان موجودا سنة أربع وسبعين وستّمائة (٣).
