    ٢١٥٠ - ابن المجاور الصوفيّ [٥٤٦ - ٦٢٥] محمّد بن الحسين بن محمّد بن الحسين، أبو عبد الله، ابن أبي عليّ، الفارسيّ، الشيرازيّ الأصل، الدمشقيّ الدار والوفاة، الصوفيّ، عرف بابن المجاور، وهو أخو الوزير أبي الفتح يوسف ابن المجاور. كان أبوه شيرازيّا قدم دمشق وسكن بها في دويرة الصوفيّة المعروفة بالسميساطيّة. وكان من الزهد والدين بمكان. وولد محمّد هذا بدمشق يوم الأربعاء العشرين من المحرّم سنة ستّ وأربعين وخمسمائة، وسمع من الحافظ أبي القاسم ابن عساكر وغيره. وقدم إلى القاهرة. قال المنذريّ (٤): توفّي بظاهر دمشق مستهلّ شهر رمضان سنة خمس وعشرين وستّمائة.
