    ١٩٨٠ - أبو الطيّب غندر البغداديّ [- ٣٥٧] (١) محمد بن جعفر بن درّان بن سليمان بن إسحاق بن إبراهيم، أبو الطيّب، يلقّب غندر. بغداديّ انتقل إلى مصر فسكنها. سمع أبا خليفة الفضل بن الحبّاب، وأبا يعلى الموصليّ، وجماعة. وسمع منه بمصر أبو الحسن الدارقطنيّ، وحدّث عنه غير واحد. قال [الخطيب] البغدادي: لقي الشيخ السادة من نسّاك بغداد والصوفيّة مثل الجنيد وأقرانه، وكتب الحديث وروى. وسكن مصر في آخر عمره. ومات بها في سنة سبع وخمسين وثلاثمائة. وقال أبو القاسم ابن الطحّان: سنة ثمان وخمسين. وزاد أبو الحسن أحمد بن محمد بن محمد بن مرزوق الأنماطيّ: في يوم الخميس لخمس خلون من ربيع الآخر.
