١٨٥٠ - العسقلانيّ شيخ القرّاء [٥٩٧ - ٦٧٦] (٤) محمد بن أحمد بن منظور بن ياسين بن خليفة بن عبد الرحمن بن قوام، أبو عبد الله، الكنانيّ، العسقلانيّ، شيخ القرّاء بالزاوية قرب باب البحر. كان جدّه منظور- بالظاء المعجمة- من أهل عسقلان. وولد هو في أواسط ذي القعدة سنة سبع وتسعين وخمسمائة. وسمع من أبي الفتوح محمد بن علي بن المبارك الخلاطيّ البغداديّ. وتوفّي بزاويته خارج القاهرة ليلة الاثنين الثانيوالعشرين من شهر رجب سنة ستّ وسبعين وستّمائة، ودفن بسفح المقطّم.
