١٨٣٣ - أبو الفتح الصوّاف [٣٧٤ - ٤٤٠] (١) محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن، أبو الفتح، المصريّ، الصوّاف. ولد بمصر في سنة أربع وسبعين وثلاثمائة. وسمع بها من أبي الحسن علي بن محمد بن إسحاق بن يزيد الحلبيّ وغيره. وسمع بصيدا وبغداد حديثا كثيرا، وسمع بدمشق، وأقام ببغداد حتى مات بها يوم الجمعة تاسع المحرّم سنة أربعين وأربعمائة. وكتب عنه جماعة. وذكر عنه الخطيب أنّه كان يشتري الكتب التي لم يكن سمعها ويسمع فيها لنفسه، ويحدّث بغير ما سمع.
