    ١٨٠٤ - ابن المصغونيّ [٦٧٩ - ٧٤٠] (٢) محمد بن أحمد بن فتوح بن أبي الذكر بن يوسف بن مساعد بن جميل بن نادر بن أحمد بن خلف بن أحمد بن غوث، أبو عبد الله، ابن أبي العبّاس، الإسكندرانيّ، عرف بابن المصغونيّ. كان فيه سكون وخير، وفضيلة في الفقه على مذهب الشافعيّ. وكتب وقرأ على الشيوخ فسمع من جماعة بديار مصر والإسكندريّة وبلاد الشام. ومولده بالإسكندريّة في سنة تسع وسبعين وستّمائة. وتوفّي بها في حادي عشرين ذي الحجّة سنة أربعين وسبعمائة. والمصغونيّ بفتح الميم وإسكان الصاد المهملة وضمّ الغين المعجمة، ثمّ واو بعدها نون، نسبة إلى مصغونة قبيلة من فزارة.
