    ١٧٥٠ - أبو عبد الله الورشيّ القرطبيّ [- ٣٩٣] (١) محمد بن أحمد بن عبد الأعلى بن القاسم، أبو عبد الله، المغربيّ، الأندلسيّ، القرطبيّ، المقرئ، المعروف بالورشيّ، نسبة إلى قراءة ورش لاشتهاره بإقرائها. وهو أحد القرّاء المعروفين. قال الحاكم: وهو من الصالحين المذكورين بالتقدّم في علم القرآن. سمع بمصر والشام والحجاز والعراقين والجبال وأصبهان، وورد نيسابور، ودخل خراسان. فسمع عليّ ابن المرزبان بأصبهان، وبالأهواز عبد الواحد بن خلف الجنديسابوريّ. وبفارس أحمد بن عبد الرحمن بن الجارود الرقّيّ. وقال ابن النجّار: قدم بغداد وحدّث بها. توفّي بسجستان في ربيع الأوّل سنة ثلاث وتسعين وثلاثمائة.
