١٦٧٦ - وليّ الدين الملويّ المنفلوطيّ [- ٧٧٤] (٢) محمد بن أحمد بن إبراهيم، الشيخ وليّ الدين، أبو عبد الله، الملويّ، المنفلوطيّ، الديباجيّ، الفقيه، الشافعيّ، العارف، ذو الفنون. ولد [ ... ] وبرع في الفقه والتفسير والأصول والتصوّف، وسلك وتجرّد وأفتى ودرّس وألّف وجمع. وولي تدريس المنصوريّة والسلطانيّة حسن. وتوفّي ليلة الجمعة خامس عشرين ربيع الأوّل سنة أربع وسبعين وسبعمائة- ودفن بالقرافة- عن بضع وستّين سنة، وشهد جنازته عالم كثير، يقال: بلغت عدّتهم نحو الثلاثين ألفا.
