١٥٦١/ ٥ - السراح ابن ظافر خطيب المدينة [٦٣٦ - ٧٢٦] (٣*) [١٨٥ - أ] عمر بن أحمد بن خضر بن ظافر بن طراد، سراج الدين، الخزرجيّ، الأنصاريّ، الشافعيّ، خطيب المدينة النبويّة وقاضيها ومفتيها.ولد بناحية صندقا من قرى مصر الغربيّة. وسمع على ابن الرشيد العطّار. وقرأ على الشيخ عزّ الدين ابن عبد السلام، وحدّث. وتفقّه بالسديد التزمنتيّ وغيره. وولي إمامة مسجد رسول الله ﷺ في سنة إحدى وثمانين وستّمائة ثم أضيفت له الخطابة أيضا مع التدريس، فخطب نحو أربعين سنة. ومرض فسار يريد التداوي بالقاهرة، فمات قبل وصوله في المحرّم سنة ستّ وعشرين وسبعمائة بالسويس عن تسعين سنة.
