    ١٣٩٩ - أبو الجيش خمارويه [٢٥٠ - ٢٨٢] (٣) خمارويه بن أحمد بن طولون، الأمير أبو الجيش، ابن الأمير أبي العبّاس. أمّه ميّاس [أمّ ولد] وهبها أمير المؤمنين المستعين بالله أبو العبّاس أحمد لأحمد بن طولون، فولدته للنصف من المحرّم سنة خمس [ين] ومائتين بسرّمن رأى، وسمّاه خمار. وقدم إلى مصر في أوّل سنة سبع وخمسين، فأقام في كنف أبيه إلى أن خرج إلى الشام في صفر سنة تسع وخمسين، فاستخلفه على الفسطاط إلى أن عاد، وهو مريض، في جمادى الآخرة سنة سبعين ومائتين.
