١٣٩٠ - أبو المجد خزعل الشنائيّ [- ٦٢٣] (٦) خزعل بن عسكر بن خليل، الشيخ الفاضل، أبو المجد، الشنائيّ، المقرئ، النحويّ، اللغويّ. سمع من الحافظ السّلفي. ودخل بغداد، وقرأ على الكمال أبي البركات عبد الرحمن بن محمد الأنباريّ (٧) أكثر مصنّفاته. وعند عوده من بغداد قطع عليه الطريق، وأخذ ما كان معه من الكتب. وأقرأ القرآن مدّة ببيت المقدس. ثمّ تحوّل إلى دمشق، فسكنها إلى أن مات في الثالث أو الثاني والعشرين من شهر رجب سنة ثلاث وعشرين وستّمائة.
