    ١٢٩٠ - حميد بن ثوابة (١) [٥١٦ أ] حميد بن ثوابة، أبو القاسم، الجذاميّ، الأندلسيّ، الدمشقيّ. قدم مصر وسمع بها أبا جعفر الطحاويّ وأبا الحسن المصرانيّ. وسمع بدمشق أبا الجهم بن طلاب وأبا الحسن بن جوصا. وببغداد أبا بكر بن أبي داود، وأبا بكر أحمد بن محمد بن أبي شيبة. وكانت له عناية بالعلم ورحلة. سمع الكثير، وكان عالما بالحديث بصيرا به. سمع منه أحمد بن سعيد، وأحمد بن محمد بن معروف وغيرهما.
